CRAFT SHOW'S ARE HERE AGAIN

I have been busy nfor the last several week's getting ready for my big Craft Show this week-end (11-14-09). This show is a one day affair and we have around 800 ladies that will grace our show. We have a big variety of crafter's that set up for the show.

It looks like the weather is going to be nice for us and the two state ballgames are being played later in the evening so that will not hender the attendance.

I will have some picture's posted next week so you can see some of the item's I have to offer.

The newest item I have is making a pendant from a State quarter. I wire wrap the quarter in Sterlin Silver. I'm very proud of how they have turned out.

These will make great gift's for any occasion.

Have a nice week-end and on a sad note, let's remember the families and friend's of our Hero's at Fort Hood, Texas.

Fall Activities are just around the corner

Football Season is just around the corner, that means nice cool weather is coming and it is time to start thinking of the Holidays.

There has been a lot of changes since the last time I listed anything on my blog. I have ventured off into another type of crafting, I have taken some lesson in jewelry designing.

I will have some of the items I'm working on ready to display on my web site; http://www.cissyscountrycottage.net/ very soon.

I hope all is well with you and your families, please visit me any time. God Bless the Men and Women that keep us safe.

Spring came early yesterday

If you have never been in a Tornado you are lucky. We had four in our area in 4 hours.
It missed our home by one mile on the first one that went through and about 1 1/2 miles on the second one, the other two missed us at a good distance.

The damage is just horrible, it is hard to believe that such damage can occur in just a few minutes. We had some death's in the southern part of the state which was hit very hard in one area.

My prayers go to those that have lost so much.

First Blast of EWinter

I thought we were going to miss having some bad weather this winter but "Old Man Winter" stuck is ugly head in around here. :)

We had 3" of ice, no sun shine for about 3 days. The sun came out yesterday and has started to melt things but when the sun goes down all of that will freeze again. The kids love it, they have been out of school ever since Monday.

This kind of weather has given me time to work on the new Pattern Site.

We have friends in the North and they have really gotten it bad since the storms left us.

Everyone keep warm and safe if you are in the storm area.
